Sorry for all the crappy/sketchy lineart stuff. I really don't have time to redraw and color and pretty-fy any pictures at the moment. I swear I'll fix all of these linearts up nice soon, so bare with me. :)

A concept drawing of a winged monkey. ("Fly my prettys, fly! Ahahaha...") I have to give credit for the inspiration to The Wizard of Oz as illustrated by Barry Moser. See, I read this little introduction thing in the very beggining that bragged about how Moser's take on Oz was 'fresh' and 'original.' An example of this 'originality' was how his winged monkeys had mechanical wings. I imeadiatley drew this up, then proceded to check out the book's art. The monkeys in the book look NOTHING like this. They pilot and fly around in these goofy looking plane things...Pretty dumb. Anyway, I liked my version of the mechanical winged monkey so here he is...

i don't like the weird monkey planes either. i've seen those, they're just non-neat :p haha
